What is the School of Athens?

Astute observers will recognize Raphael’s image of Plato on the left and Aristotle on the right (teacher and student engaged in dialogue). They represent our ideal of the teacher-student relationship: partnership in the pursuit of learning.
The Academic Integrity Seminar is designed around this student-teacher ideal, where teachers and students learn from each other. The common pursuit of truth in the pursuit of defining better lives for ourselves and in the context of our broader society is a key aim of the Seminar.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have an impact on students’ lives. Student evaluations show that over 84% of respondents would recommend the seminar to a friend. That’s an exceptional outcome for a required remediation assignment.
